Let
me explain what we do here. We send your name to our Heraldic
Librarian to research your last name and see if there has ever
been a Coat of Arms registered for your name. If we are
successful and can find it in our Library of Arms we will create
a BLAZON OF ARMS CERTIFICATE and give it to you so that you will
have a permanent record of it. The Blazon of Arms Certificate
tells you all about your Coat of Arms.
The language of Heraldry was written in
NORMAN FRENCH. That was the language of HERALDRY of a Thousand
Years ago, so it would be pointless to send this to you as
nobody speaks it any more. However we have a linguist on staff
who translates this for you into ENGLISH. To give an example:
the International Language of the airline industry today is
ENGLISH. If the Pilots do not speak English they cannot fly
Internationally. Likewise if the Heralds of Old did not speak,
read or write Norman French they could not travel from country
to country interpreting HERALDRY. Now then, even though this is
in ENGLISH it is still in HERALDIC TERMS and most people would
not understand it. BUT we have a HERALDIC ARTIST who will
transpose the Written Word into it's artistic representation-
it's drawing- according to the laws of the old Heraldic Guild.
By this time it has taken two experts to get
your coat of arms to this stage, but you still do not know what
it
all means, so we now have the HERALDIC RESEARCHER interpret it.
The Blazon of Arms explains not only what everything means, but
also the date that your name was first registered with the Lyon
Court as an authentic Coat of Arms. It tells where everything is
on the Shield and what the Colours, Characters and Symbols are
and what the traditional meanings are according to the oldest
Heraldic laws. If we are unsuccessful at finding your name, (and
there are names out there for which there is no coat of arms),
there is NO FEE for our service and you get a total refund. If
you still wish to have your own personalized 'original' coat of
arms of your name, this can be arranged.

About Heraldicum.
Heraldic arts are what we specialize in. But we have also worked
on many privately requested works of art over the years. Our
Ladies embroidered the Great Seal of the United States for Bill
Clinton. He carried that piece on his inaugural drive. We have
done Heraldic work for Ed McMahon, Johnny Carson, the Marriot
family, the Hilton Hotel, the Sylvester Stallone family as well
as Adnan Kashoggi and Buddy Ebsen. We have also done many high
level corporate logos and badges.
Over our lengthy existence our work was
difficult to find generally. Anyone wanting one of our pieces
would have to be in the right place at the right time. There
have been many knock-offs and imitators of our work, but none
coming near to equaling our craftsmanship, and of course none
with our connection to the Lyon Court. Our sales staff has
resided in Harrods and other fine stores through the years and
we currently reside in the world famous Venetian in Las Vegas,
upper central rotunda. Once upon a time you had to come to us to
actually commission your Heirloom. We have finally decided to
offer our service via the Internet, and by phone, and so we are
now available to you, wherever you happen to be.

The first step we take in finding your family Coat of Arms is a
name research. We work from the worlds largest heraldic library,
which is located in Inverness Scotland. Our Heraldic interpreter
is a professor of linguistics and speaks 11 languages, including
Norman French.
Norman French is the international language
of Heraldry, as it has been for hundreds of generations. All
family names registered in the Heraldic Library has the
description of the Coat of Arms written in Norman French.
This is similar to the Airline industry in
which English is the standard language- if you cannot speak
English, you cannot fly a plane. Likewise if you cannot
interpret Norman French, you cannot do proper heraldic research.
Once the Interpreter has found your name (if
registered) he will then translate the Norman French description
of your Coat of Arms into English, which is then given to a
heraldic artist, also in Scotland, who will compose the drawing
of your Coat of Arms. The artist will further develop the Blazon
of Arms Certificate and all of it's elements, including date the
name was first registered, historic location, and most important
of all, the meaning of the symbols contained within your Coat of
Arms.
We will then present this lovely Blazon of
Arms Certificate of Authenticity for you on 8.5 x 14 parchment
paper. The image of your Coat of Arms is in full color.

In the Heraldry Showcase section of this site
we will show you all of the marvelous ways you can preserve and
show your family heritage with unique Heirloom ideas
incorporating the information and artistry from your Blazon of
Arms Certificate in print as well as hand-crafted Embroidery
work. Meanwhile, if you have any questions feel free to contact
us at dennyjones@embarqmail.com
Once you have decided to preserve your
family history by ordering a name search and Blazon of Arms
Certificate, we provide you with several lovely and unique
ways to show off your heritage.
Many of our customers wish their Coat of
Arms done in the time-old tradition of hand-sewn embroidery
pieces to be framed and hung on the wall. There may be many
imitators out there of heraldic embroidery work, but none
hand-stitched in Scotland with the meticulously exquisite
perfection we expect in our products.
Below is a close-up image of the work we
did for the Richards Coat of Arms. It can take our Ladies up
to 250 hours to hand stitch a large embroidery.

Another service we provide is Stationary,
Business Cards and Wedding Invitations depicting your Coat
of Arms. For wedding invitations we like to do a double
print showing both hers and his family Coat of Arms. We have
an Award winning Graphic Artist on hand- Athyrius, who will
be glad to help design your personalized printed materials.
We also provide your Coat of Arms as a
seal on rings, cufflinks or pendants. This is also an
ancient art whereby a King, Knight or other leader would
seal a letter shut with hot wax embedded with a ring seal
containing his coat of arms. Please feel free to contact us
about any of these services at

Heraldic Embroidery
Twenty-two Karat gold woven
thread, French Silk thread, Sterling Silver cording.
These and only these exquisite embroidery materials
are used in our Embroidered works of art. Once you
have ordered your Blazoning, our Native Scottish
embroiderers turn it into a one of a kind family
keepsake.
Not far from Eilean Donan Castle
in Scotland our Gaelic ladies hand-stitch your
family heirloom. Of course when every stitch is
meticulously done by hand, it takes a bit of time.
Once your Blazon of Arms
Certificate is finished, a copy of your Coat of Arms
is sent to our art department and when it gets there
we commission an artist who is on staff to draw in
the correct proportion and colours according to the
size you would like to have in your home or office.
We then cut the Gold, Silver and imported French
Silk thread. Then the whole package is sent to a
Lady in her own home and she hand crafts it. In
other words, there is no factory, and each is
hand-made.
It takes the Lady approximately
195 to 200 hours to Hand Stitch it, that is about 5
to 6 working weeks and in fact it takes them longer
to stitch them in the Winter time than it does in
the Summer time. You see, in the Wintertime the
artificial lighting shining on the Gold and Silver
thread makes it hard on the eyes doing such
intricate work. However, it normally takes about 5
to 6 weeks for the Lady to Stitch your Heirloom.
When she finishes it she then sends it back to our
office where it is checked for Heraldic accuracy.
The reason for this is simple, the Lady doing the
stitching doesn't know the first thing about
Heraldry. Our Ladies expertise is in Embroidery.
Once your Coat of Arms is all
checked for Heraldic accuracy and quality control it
is then sent to you at your own home or office,
direct from Scotland. A family Coat of Arms is a
gift that the receiver will keep forever, to be
passed down through the generations. If you choose
to send one as a gift to a relative or loved one, we
will first send the receiver their Blazon of Arms
Certificate on Parchment, with a note letting them
know that their Coat of Arms has been commissioned
and the approximate time it will be arriving from
Scotland.
